So beautiful. Y’all did good If you have any breastfeeding questions, email me with your phone number and a good time to call and I will call you. I had to use a nipple shield at first too, for the same reason that you are.

One of the things that will help raise them, is before you try to get him to latch on, make a loose fist and use your knuckles to stimulate your nipples. This will also get the milk hormones (prolactin, I think) stimulated so Damian doesn’t have to wait as long for the milk to let down.

Oh, please, don’t let your self consciousness with your looks stop you from getting pictures of the three of you together. I agree with Kahmiel; of course you are glowing!

He’s beautiful!!!! And im sure your glowing, get some pictures of you and your baby boy up there! When looking at these pictures for the first time I actually found myself crying a bit (tears of joy!) for you. I’m so proud of you and so happy for you, Michael, and Damien of course.
