Dream: The Draft

I had a dream last night that a couple military men came to the door wanting Damian to answer his draft notice. I tried to tell them he was too young (he was only three years old in the dream) but they wanted him anyways. They were holding a gun for him. They had a draft notice for Michael too. I was so angry at the government from taking away the people I love.

I told the soldiers to wait in the kitchen while I got a couple things for Damian. I told them Michael would be home in a few minutes. I took Damian, went upstairs and I called Michael when I was upstairs and told him what was going on. He said “you know what to do.”

I did. I dug a shotgun out of the closet and went downstairs and shot the military men. I dragged their bodies into the garden and put a tarp over them. I went and got Damian from upstairs and we started packing. Michael got home a few minutes later and we loaded the car and started driving to Canada. All the billboards on the way had patriotic and religious slogans and Palin on them. I was so disgusted.

We picked up Michael’s family, who also had to flee since they were the “wrong” kind of Christian (they are LDS) as well as Michelle, Mikcos and Nathan because Nathan had gotten his notice. I woke up when we were getting on the road again.

Very freaky.

Don’t forget to get Damian registered as a Canadian. He has the privilege for both.
Got to love America and the pitbull with lipstick.

I see that kind of government control much more in the type of policies Obama is promoting which is why I don’t like his politics. I even see some of it in McCain, but a little less so than Obama. Out of all of them I see Palin as the one most likely to keep the government out of our everyday lives. Share with me links that make you so fearful of Palin. I may do some re-evaluating.

That’s a scary dream! But you sure are bada$$ in it! I’d like for you to be on MY TEAM! Haha! I do not Palin as well. I am fearful more so of her because she is kept so hush hush. I cannot wait for the VP debate though.

A dream or a nightmare can mean anything.

But as mother of sons. I had to say this is one of my worries that they might get sent of to some war.
But I want my boys to think for there self. Not to follow in the way I think or believe in.
    As well as anyone else.
Not meaning to brag about my parenting skills they can think for them self.
Although I don’t agree with them but they can make choices on there own and are comfortable doing it.

To start with I do not understand why they are keeping her away from the media. Here is an interview with Katie Couric and here is the second part, it is just awful. She is charismatic, which is charming at first until you look past that and realize she does not know the issues. Her other interviews are no better. It will be interesting to see her in the debate with Biden this coming Thursday, I hope you will be watching.

She supports drilling the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and wants the polar bear and beluga whale delisted as endangered species. She also does not believe humans have a hand in global warming (though flip flopped on that once recently.) All issues I hold an opposition stance on.

While she was mayor of Wasilla, the city billed sexual assault victims and their insurance companies for the cost of rape kits and forensic examinations. They were the ONLY community in Alaska to do so. That is despicable and as major she she have stopped that practice before the state government had to.

She lied about her involvement with the “bridge to no where” (wikipedia) so much for being against earmarks…

Then there is the issue of the “troopergate”. If she is innocent why after refusing to cooperate fully has she done a 180 and refused to testify voluntarily. (wikipedia

Then there is her blessing from Thomas Muthee, a Kenya bishop, to protect her against witchcraft. This is my biggest issue, the hair that broke the camel’s back so to say. (Here is the video of the blessing and a wikipedia article on the man.) As a non-Christian I find it offensive that she does not have a problem with that man. Her church even donated to his ministry. Muthee is a monster. He accused a woman in Kenya (known as Mama Jane) of witchcraft because people died in car accidents in front of her clinic. He led a spiritual war against her and she was driven from the town. Here is another article about it where Palin praises him.

While she is no longer a member of that church, Assemblies of God (but rather another evangelical one) she has deep roots in the Pentecostal community. Here is a pretty unbias article on it.) I don’t have a problem with her being Christian but I do not feel she will keep her religion out of government (seperation of church and state!) The churches a person attends are very much a reflection of that person’s views and her churches do not leave room for any of religion (nor any other form of Christianity.)

There are WAY too many unknown about Palin, which make her a very poor choice for VP. She also has no foreign policy credentials (seeing “Russia from your house” does not count.) Granted, I don’t think Obama really has any either, which is why I support neither candidate! This woman is a heart beat away from being on the most powerful people on Earth, I think we should be afraid of that because of all the unknown factors.

I know if you truly believe intelligent voting, you will look this candidate up to the max (as well as any other.) It is up to you to make your own choice of course, but these are my reasons I cannot support her. A great place to start reading on her is wikipedia of course which is pretty unbias. There are lots of linked sources at the bottom of the page.

Don’t forget Palin tried banning books for her town’s library. If your dream comes true, hopefully I will be meeting you on the other side of the border when you get there. :)
