The Year was 2004

The Rules:

  • Go to Music Outfitters.
  • Enter the year you were done with high school in the search function and get the list of 100 most popular songs of that year.
  • Bold the songs you like, strike through the ones you REALLY dislike.
  • I’m adding color to the ones I absolutely adored.
  • Tag some people.

I haven’t heard a lot of these songs (or at least, they were not memorable) and I also didn’t like a lot of music from my generation, at least not mainstream stuff.

how do you NOT love OutKast’s “Roses?”
and I Miss You is a good song, considering it’s all pop punk. It’s got a lot of influence from The Cure, and…THE CURE, MAAAAAN.

Ha! I did this and freaked out by how old I am. The “new” stuff I have in my iPod is the stuff in Micheal’s list!

Mine (1991) ran the gamut from Bryan Adams, Amy Grant, Extreme, C+C Music Factory (from whom I have not heard anything since) and Wilson Phillips.
