Best of Damian (so far…)

Forgive the mother who is in shock over how much her baby has grown. I went through and picked out my favorite photo from each month since Damian was born. It is overwhelming how much he has changed… (Nana can you email me your mailing address, I want to send you a photo cd with all Damian’s photos.)

I’ll put most of these behind a cut because it is photo intensive so I feel sorry for anyone who watches me over on livejournal.

Damian
June 7th
1 day old! He was 8lbs 8oz and 21-inches long when he was born. Sooo little! (Okay, didn’t feel that small coming out, but now it seems so itty bitty.)

Andrea took this one of our little family in Manito Park. We had a picnic with friends that day too.

August 17th
Andrea did another photoshoot with us and Michael’s family, it was 104F outside that day. This is Michael’s dad holding Damian, so cute! My father also came to visit us earlier in August, we have a photo of them together here.

Lots of cute pictures from this month, like ones from the harvest festival, but I really love this one. Just having some Daddy time.

October 20th and 31st
Sorry, I couldn’t choose for October! My mom and grandma sent Damian the Pooh costume and I made him the Green Man one.

November 28th
This one almost won because it shows him crawling but I can’t help but love the snow day one best. We had so much fun on our walk.

(Today, six months old!)
I had some photos in my last post from today but this one makes me smile too. If there are any football (soccer) fans out there, doesn’t it look like he is screaming GOOOOOOOOOOAL! (For the non-sports-inclined, he saw a squirrel.)

So that wraps up the past six months, they have flown by so fast. I will try not to post about Damian again today. I think I am just traumatized by how fast time is going and worried I will blink and he won’t need me anymore…

You know what, he will always need you. Always, you are his mother, the one that gave him life and unconditional love. Be proud and not sad about him growing up.

What a great set of pictures. He certainly is meeting his milestones ahead of time. You are blessed to have a healthy, beautiful son! (my grand-nephew!)

They sure grow fast the first year.
Now I have one left the nest and the other one is one his way out.
    The years went by quickly.
But they were joyful years even I have to admit at times my boys drove me over the edge of craziness.

    Coffee is on.

I’m not sad, I just think it was momentary panic. I am INSANELY proud of my son that he is so advanced for his age, I practically beam when I talk about it hehe.

*Hugs* thanks for the moral support, it means a bunch!
