Home Again, Home Again

I should probably update everyone to let you know Michael got home safe and sound. Our van is still stuck at our friends, we will try to retrieve it tomorrow or Saturday. A coworker with a Jeep and chains brought him home, he is also taking him to work and back tomorrow as well.

The snow finally tapered off a two or three hours ago, we are to expected scattered snow showers through the night, maybe another inch or two of snow. We have about 28 inches on our patio, another two inches won’t make much of a difference at this point. Coeur d’Alene (just east of us) received just over three feet of snow. Records broken all around.

Now to dig out!

Well, there was no escaping this snowstorm. Even Las Vegas got hit. Doesn’t snow always look pretty when you’re a couple thousand miles away from it? :)

Glad he is home safe and sound.
Maybe I can email you one of our Jeeps here.
But I do like looking at the snow from a distance (long).
We are off to go skating today at Dubai Mall.
    Buying winter so to speak.

I am so glad he is home. I can’t beleive they are having work there with all the snow. (The photos are awesome by the way). Stay safe and warm.

If it had of been easier for him to come home, he might of instead. There is a lot of snow but with the proper vehicle (not our chainless van obviously) it was passable.

People always need food I guess? (Michael works for a produce company.) Granted a lot of the people they normally delivery to were not there… Hehe!

We have chains on order at Napa, hopefully we will be able to get them today. You have sandstorms, we have snow storms… unfortunately we don’t have indoor beaches like you have indoor skiing!

Wow, that’s an amazing snowfall! Makes ours in Seattle seem like a dusting, though the few inches we’ve gotten have shut down parts of the city. We live at the top of a hill, too, and haven’t been able to get off of it for a couple of days.

I’m glad Michael was able to get home today.
