When I lived with my parents, it was in a very old Acadian house (later lived in by English people). It used to be a farm, but the buildings are gone now. The farm was traditionally known as "Sheep House Hill" (the house is obviously on a hill). I want a sheep farm when I have some land later in the future, and if my parents leave the house to me, I will certainly be reinstating that name once more :D

I got everything moved up next to the house and covered them all w/ sheets (my new beds aren't ready yet, so nothing's been planted) Ben took them off this morning before he left for work, and everyone looks fine this afternoon. I'm glad we didn't get any hard frost, that would not be fun.
I like the idea of having a name for your home. That word itself seems to carry so much meaning for us - but your question has definitely given us some food for thought. I'll let you know if we come up w/ anything. :o)
