Flower Friday: Forget-Me-Nots

Flower Friday: Forget-Me-Nots

When bees hum in the linden tree
and roses bloom in cottage plots.
Along the brookside banks we see
the blue wild forget-me-nots.
– Patience Strong

I spotted this lovely little thing was growing in the sandy gravel at the edge of Priest Lake. I am not sure what it is, but I think it is Forget-Me-Nots are just beautiful.

They are Forget-me-nots. They go wild in my garden and I love them. Here is a picture I took this year.

For the record, the little spinning fetus is terrifying.

Also, yay forget-me-nots! I see them now and then in purple and pink, too. =)

I love forget-me-nots. They grow in my grandma’s backyard so I always love to have picnics or just read on a blanket there in the summertime.
