I need to add gardening to my list of things to study. It didn’t occur to me that I couldn’t just grow radishes from spring to fall. It would be too hot in the summer probably.

Oof, tough question I’d say, the devices I use depend on where I am really.
When I was in france, I used a phone with GPS function because I knew there were a lot of geocaches around in that area, and if I love doing something. It’s biking around, looking for geocaches

For the rest, my trusty laptop, a big ol hunk o plastic and electronics that tends to overheat a bit if I don’t use it nicely ^^.

My own hand writing sucks, so I tend to use a tablet or usually just the keyboard on the lappy.

It is called successive sowing. I intend on doing it with my radishes, carrots and some green. It works well as long as you make sure things mature before the weather gets too hot or cold for them.

SilverStarlight’s little boy (from the Pagan forum) has this too. He eventually grew out of it. I think most of it fell off or something.

We have this sportsplex thing by my house and I remember when we were little they would let people come in the mornings and walk around the outside of the indoor soccer fields. There were always a few kids inside the soccer field running around and playing with one another.
My only other suggestion would be like mall walking, though it would be harder to herd a toddler in a mall like setting.

You could try yoga, during naps. It could be something Damian could have fun trying out too. Its not so much for weight loss, but it can certainly help you feel better. I’m sure (though I don’t know of any tried and true links) that you could find sites online that will show you poses and things about it.

It is amazing how fast you learn things, like how to swaddle a baby (wrap a baby like that.) Honestly, my husband taught me most of that stuff. Before my son was born I had never even held a baby, much less changed a diaper.

I think when it comes to deciding to have a child, at some point it just starts making sense and being a bit less terrifying. At least, that is how it was for me…

wow… as much as a part of me would like a child I’m not sure if I could go through that whole pregnancy and childbirth thing… and then everything that comes with motherhood – I’m such a klutz – how do you even wrap a baby like that? LOL I was always afraid I’d drop my friend’s babies – especially her son since he was such a squirmy little thing… Congrats on the birth of a healthy little goddess

Cute picture!

It’s very nice to have a good meal with family and friends. I can’t recall if I’ve ever had a bbq turkey but I know I like oven cooked turkey. No yams or sweetp potatoes this year though
