Yesterday after Michael got off work we headed downtown to the Pagan Meetup. We had some ice cream and listened to the guest speaker for awhile but I must admit we just were not getting dragged into the talk. (Maybe because Damian was wandering all around and Ivy didn’t want to be still.) We bailed early and walked over to one of the playgrounds in Riverfront Park instead. Few words are needed to share how much fun was had, plenty of photos though. (I admit, I am saving my favorite shot for tomorrow, something Damian has never tried before. Suspense!)

This is cool, as long as the big kids don’t come jump on it. A rescue was needed at that point.

After sampling playground sand (they grow out of it eventually, right? I mean Michael doesn’t do it…) water is a very good thing, and then we were homeward bound.

Bliss.

Grandpa Tolman came to visit me on August 2nd and 3rd. We had lots of fun and went to IHOP, where I learned steak is a breakfast food! (And mommy learned she has to give me my breakfast food while she has hers, no matter where we are!) I went with them to buy a freezer and some computer stuff too since, well, I don’t really have a choice yet! We also went to Riverfront Park, where I got to lay in the grass! We had a bbq on Sunday too.

Grandpa Tolman brought me some clothes and a stuffed camel too. He lives in the UAE, the camel makes noise, it sounds like it is pooping. That’s cool though, everyone’s got to poop. He brought mommy and daddy some cashmere scarves and some shiny nicknacks too, one looks like Aladdin’s lamp and the other is a falcon box. I love shiny things!

Mommy upload lots of the photos here, they all have me in them since Grandpa Tolman’s trip was all about me! I love him very much!

This weekend my Grandpa Tolman came to visit. Mommy has lots of photos to sort but this is a little video grandpa took of me in Riverfront Park. Mommy and Daddy are talking about ways to keep the girls away from my adorableness as I grow up.

This is World Breastfeeding Week so this Saturday we might go back to the park to support La Leche League International at Kids Day. I want to lay in the grass again, it felt sooo neat!

(This is a little bit of a deviation from the usual square format I use in my photoblog. My father actually took this photo, but I want to put it in a 5×7 frame I have so I spent some time modifying it in GIMP. I am really pleased with the final product.)

This is some of the video Michael and I recently took along the Spokane River. The first clip is from Bowl and Pitcher in Riverside State Park and the remaining ones are from various parts of Riverfront Park in downtown Spokane. The river has crested though it is expected to stay at or near flood stage for awhile, especially with the hot weather and rain still in the forecast.
